Using the site

dealsaid.org is run by Deal's Aid, a youth-led non-profit registered in The Bahamas. By using the site you agree to these terms. Everything on it is free: there are no fees, subscriptions or purchases.

Please don't misuse the site: no spam, no attempts to break or overload it, and no submitting someone else's information without permission.

Safety and learning content

• Water safety, CPR and first aid: this information can help, but it is not a certification. Take a hands-on course from a certified provider. In an emergency in The Bahamas, call 919 or 911.
• Dean's Blue Hole: swimming, snorkelling and diving carry real risks. Follow posted signs and local guidance, never dive alone, and stay within your training.
• Courses at dealsaid.org/learn: health, diet, investing and driving lessons are general education, not medical, financial or legal advice. The Driver's Test Review does not replace the official handbook or test.
• AI-assisted content: the courses were written with help from AI tools and reviewed by our team, but they may still contain mistakes. Check important information with a trusted source.
• Course accounts are stored only in your browser. If you clear your browser data, your progress is gone and we can't restore it.

Giveaway rules

These rules apply to every Deal's Aid giveaway on this site. Details of a specific giveaway (such as the prize and deadline) are announced on our social media and in the Giveaway tab.

1. Free to enter. No purchase or payment is ever required.
2. Who can enter. Students who can show proof of school age (passport, NIB card or school uniform photo).
3. Parent or guardian. Every application needs a parent or guardian's email and phone number. Applicants under 18 need their parent or guardian's permission to apply.
4. One application per person. Duplicate applications may be removed.
5. Essays. Answer at least one of the two questions (you may answer both). Each answer must be 250–300 words and written by the applicant. AI-written or copied answers will be disqualified.
6. Choosing winners. The Deal's Aid team reviews applications and chooses the winners. Our decisions are final.
7. Contacting winners. We contact winners through the parent or guardian's email or phone number. If we can't reach a winner within a reasonable time, we may choose another.
8. Publicity. We only share a winner's name or photo with their parent or guardian's permission.
9. Changes. We may change or cancel a giveaway if something outside our control makes it impossible to run fairly. We'll post an update if that happens.

Content and credits

The text, photos, videos and robot artwork on this site belong to Deal's Aid unless noted. Please ask before reusing them. Icons are from Font Awesome Free (CC BY 4.0). Fonts (Fraunces, Figtree, Atkinson Hyperlegible and Bricolage Grotesque) are used under the SIL Open Font License and served from this site.

Liability

We work hard to keep information accurate, but the site is provided as is, and we can't guarantee it is always complete or up to date. Deal's Aid is not responsible for injury, loss or damage from using the information on this site. Links to other websites are for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

These terms are governed by the laws of The Bahamas. If we update them, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
